Williams Family in Need of Clothing, Book Bags and School Supplies

Hello Legacy Academy Families,
I pray that most of you have returned to your homes and that you are beginning the process of preparing for school on Monday.  Unfortunately, the Williams family of six is still in an emergency shelter in Viera.  They are working with FEMA, however, they have not been able to find housing and lost all of their belongings in the devastation during Hurricane Irma.
One of our grandparents, Beth Scott, has reached out to Mandy Williams, the mother of the five children, and is coordinating the effort to assist the family.  As I informed you in an earlier post, Marlicia Brooks is a first grader at Legacy Academy.  Fabian Williams is on the waiting list for the fifth grade at Legacy.  There are also three other children, Jessica, 18 years old, Diamond, 16 years old, and Kunisha, 14 years old.
The following is a list of emergency items that this family needs immediately so that the children are prepared to return to school on Monday. Struck through items have been donated already, we’ll update the list as much as we’re able to as things come in.

Please contact Beth Scott at (321)302-5544 if you would like to assist this Legacy family.  Beth’s email address is beth_scott@live.com. And of course, please feel free to contact me at (919) 536-2305 or at Charlene.montford@yahoo.com.
Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.  Beth plans to get all donations to the Williams family before school starts on Monday.
Thank you.  Continue to be safe.
