Legacy Academy Family Needs Assistance

Legacy Lion Families,

I do hope that our Legacy Lion families are holding up during this time of intense challenges with Hurricane Irma. I have heard from many of you and although most report power outages, overall it appears that you are safe. However, at least one of our families has lost everything.

Marlicia Brooks, a first grader in Mrs. Nason class, has lost her home due to the devastation of the storm. They have contacted all of the emergency agencies, and as of 30 minutes ago, are still without a place to go. They are hoping to get to a shelter before nightfall. The mothers name is Mandy Williams.

As an update, Mr. George has been in contact with his sister and other family members. They are alive and made it through hurricane Irma, however, they have lost their home and belongings.

Please keep them in your prayers and if you can provide any form of assistance, please give me a call at (919) 536-2305 or send me an email to Charlene.Montford@yahoo.com.

Also, if you know of any of our Legacy Lion families in need of assistance, please let me know ASAP.

Be safe.

Charlene Montford, Principal
